lyrics
Tell me the truth
about the jokes
That ate themselves to death
And dissapeared
This numerous times
I thought i could laugh
Myself to sleep or hate
Tell me the truth
About the dreams
That turn to dust
So fast
Like life just flies
This numerous times
I thought i could laugh
Myself to sleep now suck
Talking about a fadeway
Talking about a sweet release
Now look at me now
Dreading the time
The dawn will come
For me
Tell me the truth
About those days that fold in two
And split before my eyes
One half 's not mine
The other one 's dead
So what am i doing here
Talking about a fadeaway
Talking about a sweet release
Now give the truth
Or pass me the blade
And let me sort it out
Oooh
Tell me the truth now baby
Oooh
Or pass me the blade
This is a beautiful album. The directness of the lyrics with an old school approach of pop music songwriting is what makes it special. Well done Pan Pan! Misfortunes
Extraordinary artist pan pan delivers once again an album that feels so personal. Kalliopi Mitropoulou has that something in her singing that keeps you hooked . I dont find that often.
highly recommended! Misfortunes
Drawing from '80s art-pop, New Wave, and post-punk, Alex Reed's latest LP is a thoughtful treatise on survival in a dying world. Bandcamp New & Notable Aug 18, 2020
